You guys are acting like 61 is a big deal. Hell I work with 5 guys who are 71 to 74 years old in my service department. One of them is equipment delivery, machines starting weight is 80lbs up to 400lbs. The rest are service technicians.

My only thought on what might cause it is a lack of lymph nodes in his arms or upper body. I had an old teacher who got cancer. During her treatment they removed her lymph nodes after that she had fluid retention which led to swelling in her arm.

I was thinking along the same lines. Varied forms of edema can bloat your extremities. But if he's a world-class arm wrestler, fluid retention doesn't explain his strength. Presumably the bones, muscles and tendons are supersized too.
