This was the ballsiest thing I've ever seen. What I love about KT is how when she's setting up, despite the circumstances, she looks and acts like she's got every right to be there among the big names. And the hunger-- all she needed was one shot, and she took it.

She went out when every other act had a reputation behind them to rely on, and she had nothing, and she stole the show with a demonstration of great talent and supreme confidence. The silver lining of sorts, is that this is what comes from street busking or terrible gigs in old man bars. If you can get the looper timing during pisisng rain on Buchanan street whilst a junkie is shouting stuff and spraying bucky everywhere then doing it on Jools Holland is a piece of piss...

Just found out on CraigFergusons podcast,KT got the gig because of rapper Nas last minute cancelling Jools gig...and she just started messing about with the looper ...wasnt a pre planned set up at all yet. This song was the first experimental one, just to get the hang of it,and dial it in. She could have totally fcked up everything .She didnt.Kudos. Wonderful. I bought 5 looper pedals since. And last time i used it,was yesterday. Lets plug it in,and have some fun....🎉

One of the very best performances ever recorded on Later with Jools Holland. What makes this even more impressive is the fact that Tunstall was a last minute stand in. Another artist dropped out of the show not long before recording, and KT received a call. I am in awe, every time I see KT Tunstall perform. Especially solo, with this crazy (as in, it takes crazy talent to do it) looping sh*t. Wow. My life is enriched for seeing her perform. Thank you KT.

One hell of a television debut right there... and KT only had 24 hours to get ready due to standing in for an act who pulled out.
