Her grandfather Antonio Aguilar made history in USA. He was a pioneer of Latin music in America during the toughest days of hispanic discrimination. And he would just open up massive concerts dressed as Mexican with a magnificent variety of trained horses and folklore. His most remembered words were like, "let's enjoy life, live happy, help each other because at the end... the rich, and the poor die the same way, without taking anything valuables along to death, regardless of their social class, nationality, occupation, you name it.

Dicen que Antonio el finado era muy ojete fuera del ecenario!! Mi papa cruso la frontera con un primo hermano o algo asi de Antonio y mi papa decia que empesaron a travajar juntos en un rancho en Nuevo Mexico y que el señor era un cabron para la doma de caballos y que el decia que el señor Antonio Aguilar era la persona mas miserable y que le gustava humillar a la gente!! Yo soy de Durango y los Aguilar acostumbravan ir a las carreras de caballos y a los gallos cada Julio para la feria de Durango y un amigo cuenta que ellos le ganaron a Antonio una jugada de gallos y que no les pago que les dijo que fueran a asta Zacatecas y que alla les pagava y fueron dice el señor de hecho fallecio este 20 de Enero 2020, dice que los trato de lo peor y no les pago!! I have a few friends and family members that are from Mexico but once they have kids they don't want to speak Spanish!!! I'm second generation and speak read and write español! @@marcobenavides16 I don't know about her not holding a candle to Selena... she is just starting out give her time I think she will carve out her own piece of the pie and in time and may become a legend in her own right. Angela and Selena are roughly at the same stage in their career age wise. She is learning who she is as a singer same as Selena was at this stage. The Selena we remember was in her 20's when she came into her style that's when started hearing hits like "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom" and "Como la flor". Angela is on her way I wish nothing but the best for her. I just pray she does not change she is very sweet and humble and definitely has that likeability factor.
