Great video. After running the engine to warm up the oil, I put the bike on the kickstand, undo the oil filler cap and I usually remove the front magnetic strainer first, then remove the filter and lastly, the back magnetic strainer. I've found that this way, there isn't so much oil dripping out of the rear strainer onto the exhaust.

I have the same bike...just wondering why you chose this filter instead of the original KTM - was it better price, better filter, or both? Also, how about the Motul oil compared to Motorex...is it as good? I need to do an oil change very soon

I've been using Hiflofiltro filters for years in my bikes. Very good price 5.5€ oil filter and great quality. Same as Motul oil, great price and can't see any differences for the Motorex.

Arezes On Wheels ...great, thanks. I read that Motul has shorter change interval (3000 miles/5000 km)...is that how long you use it? I ask because of the 15,000 km KTM service interval, and although my dealer says Motorex is good for that, I change at 7000-8000 (but even that is 50% more than 5000 km). So I’m interested to know how long you run Motul.
