I always buy bar ends to keep sand and grit from getting into the bars after dropping the bikes. Even if I have a pair of emig bolt ons I’ll cut the plastic off the ends and install bar end 👍

I completely agree and thus why I don't own one. I can't even justify 10k on a street bike that I'd commute with...let alone what would essentially be a toy. Happy riding and be safe.

The lever repair is cool as fcuk, but I never seem to have a cordless drill in my backpack when I break down on the trails lol.
@sinki198419847 жыл бұрын
That's why i carry spare levers. When you carry spares they usually don't break. :D As in, you'll mostly get a leaking tube when you don't carry one.

Hey, that was really cool with the lever- I'll keep that one in mind

I carry spares, but that was an excellent technique for the repair. I like using the molded epoxy to complete the outer portion. I also loved his riding. I'm considering on buying the M.Y. 2017. I was looking for info on the low end grunt this bike may have and it looks to be what I'm looking for. I don't ride that aggressively any more (I'm 67), but used to ride like that on my trials bike.

I love the rims on your bike, I'm not a fan of blacked out rims, these natural finish, improve the overall look 1000%. I realize that you may just 'happen' to have them on for some other reason, still, they look great. Edit: I hadn't realized this was a 10 year old video, I guess KTM went with 'blacked-out' somewhere around '15 or '16 , they might as well just dip the bikes in tar and call it a day. lol

dirt bikes are purpose-built machines just like a street bike. KTM makes machines for world-class competition, they are some of the best. If you are an average rider and/or want something cheaper then go with a YZ, DR, or one of the other fantastic yet cheaper bikes. If you are worried about the cost then you likely dont have the skill to take advantage of performance KTM offers anyway.

What's the difference between the 350 XCF and the 350 EXCF ?!
@philtripe10 жыл бұрын
its an offroader...you need to cut off the last 2 or so inches of the brake and clutch so your middle finger doesnt get hit by the lever as you use two fingers on the levers like your supposed to for dirt ridding...that way you can hold on tight and still be ready to brake or shift if need be while hitting rough terrain
@bikersoncall2 жыл бұрын
7 years ago, lol, I totally agree. I cut a couple inches off of mine, so I can one and two finger pull, I got tired off smashing my middle finger, when pulling the levers.

Because some people are more skilled than others...its not magic, KTM's are made with better parts, all things being equal, the KTM machine will beat out pretty much any other bike in its class. BTW I have owned them all...KTM's are of higher quality. Its up to the person to win the race though.

I wont deny that KTM's are great dirt bikes... and im sure they are better than most if not all... I was just trying to get the point across that I personally can not justify spending 10 grand on a dirtbike... and it has nothing to do with skill.. just finances

then why do ktm's get beat by cheaper bikes all the time in professional racing? imo the only thing KTM has going for it over the cheaper bikes from the big four is their dual sports... KTM dual sports actual have power.. when the offerings from yamaha suzuki honda and kawi are lacking
