We went from dirt bikes in our teens in the seventies to sport bikes in the eighties and nineties, to cruisers and tourers in the 2000’s and back to dirt bikes as we hit our sixties! Gotta love it.

I bought myself a little CRF300l to transition from road to dirt riding… I’ve always felt a little embarrassed saying I have it but turns out I absolutely love it! It’s more bike than I can ride in the mud and finally Adam has given me permission to be a proud owner! 😂

its funny, in north america i'd never want one, but in asia, the CRF 250 and 300 are my favorite rental bikes and i've never felt under powered, even on the big highways

Back in 1991, at Amaroo Park, I was riding a Hawksbury Club enduroX. Thinking Im flying along on my TT600 I hear a booming 4 stroke behind me, yelling at me in colourful terms to get out of the way. Then GB comes roaring past me..... Those were great days when Aussie enduro legends were part of the local club events and mere mortals got to clash bars and rub shoulders. 😊

Hi Adam, about 28 years ago, I made of mine Wayne and myself went on the motorcycle Safari in Thailand for five days it was probably one of the hardest five days riding I have a duty in my life but the most remember although I thought I used to be able to ride , A motorbike before we went there, but that was just absolutely epic riding. We had a couple of people had big accident and broke their collarbone‘s etc etc but that was okay. But they were okay in the end , I also did a seven day trek up through the golden triangle Once again, it was hard but very rewarding. What a hoot of a ride... I wasn't there and I had fun! Mates racing mates with nothing but bragging rights on offer; No one wanted to finish last; GB...what can ya say; 65 and still roosting with the best of 'em and as smooth as ever; I'm surprised we've never met Adam; I've done a few rides with Wonka around Picton; Thought I was going pretty well too until I realised Brad practices with near bald tyres! I am so looking forward to the next installment of Enduro Madness if for no reason more than to find out just how much torture the little CRF can take; Have to say, I am impressed by the little jigger thus far... It makes all you 'has beens' still look good.

Love the madness. Perfect example of why smaller bikes like the CRFs/DRZs are so popular as adventure bikes. Cheap, reliable, can take a beating and can go anywhere with a little skill. Would love to see one of your big adventures on the new DRZ4-S.

I also did this about 10 years ago, i think i lost about a gallon of sweat but i can safely say it was totally worth it! Best time ever!! And drinking Singa beers afterwards
