Love your build including the Tusk pannier rack! It’s a little wide but as you said, it’s awesome protection and fits perfect with the engine guards for total protection. Keep up the excellent work!

I picked up a Honda Grom during black Friday sales last Thanksgiving. Have over 1000 miles on it with stock everything. Fun lightweight bike for around town.

Buddy there are no threads on the alluminium bars to fir the plastic guards with the help of nuts. Do we need to screw screw it and do the threads form automatically? Can I do it with a screw driver with hand?

Did you consider using T-Rex hand guards? If not, any special reason? I see you have a T-Rex, skid plate, but I don’t see an install video….did you not do one, or am I just not seeing it? I have a 2022 adventure and I want to install a T-Rex skid plate, but when I go to order, it says it’s for a 2021. I called the company, and they couldn’t confirm that it would fit a 2022. Your thoughts? Thanks

Everything I have installed on this bike is in the build playlist for this series. I was not aware of the t-rex handguards (not on the website at the time). I includ the modifications you need to do to get the skidplate to fit on a 2022 in the installation video for this build series...

Is it normal to wobble after installing this? I installed it on my duke a while ago.

Wobble? Like you danced with excitement? Anytime you disrupt the airflow on a naked bike you will definitely get some adverse effects.

@@SeanFillner Thanks for the response. What I meant was the handle. It wobbles even at 50kph and above maybe the handguards fault.

@@SeanFillner spent sometime looking for 390 barbusters black and only found them at trex. Thanks for the heads up. Now help me fix the cold stallling issue lol. Dropped off the bike at the dealership yesterday. BTW are you considering the tusk fender mod? I have been thinking about it but would like to see if somebody has done it in orange for the color of our bikes.

@Erasmo Nieves cold stalling is normal at startup however it can be reduced by letting the fuel pump cycle before starting the bike. All of my ktm/husky bikes have this issue. Fender mods are dumb. They are a downgrade and serve no purpose.

@@SeanFillner i have tried letting the pump do its work and it still does it. If anything from starting every other try in the morning, it started to take 5-6 tries. Thats why i took it in. It seems different people are having very different experiences on this.

@Erasmo Nieves mine typically take a couple tries. It's a good thing you brought the bike in.

Isn’t there supposed to be a plastic clamp with two screws on the inside of the hand guard to mount it to the aluminum frame from the back of the hand guard?

These mount with screws yes. Not sure about what you mean from the back? Every single set I have installed gets mounted this way.
