In this video, I do a complete walkaround and a detailed ride review of the KTM Duke 250, which is currently my favorite Duke of their Indian lineup, I will talk about how the bike is to ride and live with, covering all the aspects of the bike in detail, I will also do an acceleration test on the bike. Hii broo, soo this is a tough choice and even i was thinking about this question for soo long all day, Toh what i can tell you is, if looks dont matter to you, if the styling of the bike doesn't matter, then we can compare the two bikes on the following basis, the chasis, suspension, braking, and overall all the hardware is much better on the Duke, the smoothness in the gearbox and the quickshifter is amazing on the duke 250, speed 400 is a more comfortable bike most of the time you will be riding it in a gear higher than required say 40kph in 5th gear because the engine has an annoying buzz the buzziness is not there on the scrambler 400x for some reason but it is there on the speed 400, also the seat is a bit more comfortable on the speed 400 and overall suspension setup is more comfort oriented, you cannot push it as hard as the Duke because of chasis and suspension braking is fine on its own but is let down because of the suspension being too soft if you brake hard, the ride quality is amazing, also the duke 250 gets a lot more features and stuff also it looks beautiful as i said duke 250 is the most beautiful Duke in my opinion, soo at the end all i can say is if you want to have a good balance of everything like a bike where nothing feels out of place get the duke , if you want more power and a more comfortable ride and rider triangle get the speed 400, just make sure u take a test ride because i found the buzziness on that bike to be very annoying when i rode it for longer durations, in my opinion the scrambler 400x is a far better bike than the speed 400, alsoo the seat of the duke 250 might need work if you plan to go on longer journeys and if u plan to take a pillion as well then definitely the speed 400 seat is much better, yep and finally the heating issue, it is slightly more on the speed 400 since it is the bigger capacity bike here and also there are no plastic to divert the heat away from you speed gets very hot whrn riding in traffic.... Duke has one annoying thing that the instrument cluster is quite close you your face because the geometry of the bike ,the fron rake angle of the bike is quite steep which makes it a good quick handling bike but makes it absurdly short from the front when u are riding it makes it feel a bit weird, speed 400 looks prettier when you are riding it, if that matters to you.... If i had to pick one I'd take Duke 250 because despite its lack of power and seat comfort the bike is much more loaded and just feels like it is built just a little bit better than the speed 400 when u consider everything from engine to gearbox to chasis just absolutely everything...
