The old duke was criticized for all the criteria you mentioned as it's charm, so I feel like either ways the duke is criticized. The other thing is, comparison of this one and the RR310 felt like a bit less sensible coz both the bikes belong to different genre of biking. We all miss out a fact that KTM spent 3 years on the continuous development of this machine, while a few companies just change the decals every year and show up the model every year without any shame.

Bajaj has absolutely demolished KTM's reputation. After sale support sucks. Servicing is done for the sake of it. I literally had to give my bike 5 times to the Service center to rectify the coolant levels dropping after a week of refilling. They finally rectified it when I asked for a replacement bike. My engine literally feels a little harsher every time I get it back from a Service, raises the question - what are they doing with our bikes after we leave them there? I've had it with KTM, or should I say, Bajaj. Going to get rid of the 390 soon and move to another brand.

Do check if the coolant mixing with the engine oil.My bike faced the same problem they said it was because of high temp but after riding for few months my cam shaft got worn out.luckily I got it done under warranty but still has to pay 3k

So when you come across that scenario, ditch that bike and get a motorcycle that gives you oodles of excitement each and every time you twist the throttle You will never get bored when you buy the motorcycle with your heart full of satisfaction. Don’t buy a bike to get praise from people, buy it for your happiness. A 1000cc sport bike may not give you happiness but a 50cc moped may give you pleasure so it’s about your complete personal choice. Antony Altruist I ride my bike everyday 20kms+ On aggressive riding I get around 14-17kmpl (similar in heavy traffic) 20kmpl+ on normal rides in city On Highways 26 to 29kmpl Max It was 37kmpl(6th gear 65kmph on highway) Least it was 9kmpl😂 It depends a lot on riding style and traffic! Btw I Dont even feel the heat (maybe Im used to it) If you wear jeans shoes or riding gear you wont feel the heat that much. Also the bike never got above 4 bars(half) of heat in the last 17000kms in Mumbai traffic😉

I have so many things things to say and I'm getting confused what should i say first. 1. This is the first video i saw of 2017 KTM Duke 390 where cons are greater than pros. 2. I own this 2017 KTM Duke 390 for about 8 months. 3. I upgraded from Yamaha Fazer (2009 Model) to Duke 390, may be that's why I'm not finding it slower. haha! 4. It was first 390 with ride by wire. They improved it in 2018. And now 2019 is bit more refined, specially shockers and cooling. And yeah, throttle response is better. My friend have 2018 bersion amd i myself drove at 171km/h

It is slower because the RPM is cut off after 10,000 and if u install a powertronic kit and utilize the max RPM, then u will be easily able to do to 175KMPH
