Bike is beautiful, you have done a great job but (personally speaking) that volume would get old pretty quickly.

I agree, it was pretty loud before I sold it. That being said, I believe it could’ve been bearable with a more baffled slip on. This slip on was already quite loud.

So you only removed the chamber? The cat was still there in this clip? Thats pretty impressing that only chamber delete makes it this loud.
@sharpkkilla95172 жыл бұрын
Yep the cat is higher up on the header and the chamber is really only for noise suppression, usually it’s all one unit but not on this bike.

hi wanna ask, i saw many ktm duke user setup for exhaust is - slip on muffler, remove the cat, and use original chamber (not remove). they said that dont remove the chamber because will loss power and damage engine. but as i know, chamber is only for noise controller, and the cat for afr. is that true?

yes, cat is more important

hey dude did you remap or not?
@sharpkkilla95172 жыл бұрын
Nope. Only added a booster plug fuel tuner and runs great. A lot of people don’t even do that and they say it runs fine.

@@sharpkkilla9517 thank you dude. i have another question: it’s too loud with decat and db-killer or not? because i don’t want to ride with worries
@sharpkkilla95172 жыл бұрын
@@simoduke8978 I do not know how decat is in person, as I only deleted the resonator not the catalytic converter. From what I’ve heard from people it is way too loud and most people put the cat back on. Also you’d need a remap after deleting the cat. For me it’s very loud but is not annoyingly loud. Of course the neighbors will not like you and it can be obnoxious at times but it makes the bike feel so much better.
