Did this require an ECU map? If not that, then fueling adjustment? I am reading mixed messages everywhere that this is bad for it due to the amount of air coming out, versus going in etc.

With just the slip in no fuel management is needed it’s post cat and post o2 sensor. If you do an airbox lid then you will want to do something like the fuelx.

The front you just lower the forks in the triple tree. The rear is the eBay swingarm extension for your year duke. The lowering link for the shock was by T. rex racing. I don’t have links because I got it all local. But I know this is where they were all purchased.

just installed mine after cutting it like yours, 5 minutes into riding my bike shut off while riding and oil light came on for the first time? Curious if you know the cause of this

@@burnoutbobby Brand new bike has 800km on it only , forgot to mention low fuel popped up then bike shut off simultaneously. realized that’s most likely the reason. Just coincidence I just installed slip on I guess.

People doing swingarm extensions on these bikes is so humorous. It does absolutely nothing positive for ridability and in all honestly diminishes cornering capability.

@@burnoutbobby not at all. Just 40yrs+ of being on 2 wheels and owning everything from liter bikes a busa and a H2(2017) to the 390 you see in my avatar. Many track days over that time frame as well(circuit and 1320.) The 390 doesn't provide enough torque to benefit from an extension and actually does more harm to the ridability of the bike than good. Anyone with experience riding will tell you this.

I have zero issues turning in tight radius and ave same capabilities as the r6 and other bikes I ride with. Don’t see the issue. Maybe I should have left it stock and did an. Yoshi slip on. Then I’d get the purist approval.

@@burnoutbobby it is impossible that you have not diminished the cornering abilities of the bike as you increased the wheelbase. You just don't ride at that limit where you realize how you have actually impacted the bike in this manner. ....and I'm not a Yoshi fan. Or Akra for that matter. At least not for these bikes. I only run LeoVince cans. I run a carbon fiber LV Pro with the dB killer pulled. About to do a Comp Werkes presilencer delete. I've dropped over 50lbs from the bike so far and counting by yanking unnecessary stock items from the bike. These bikes are known for handling. All I am simply saying is that you are basically diminishing the one thing they are noted for by doing a swingarm extension and it really serves zero benefit in ridability. Shorter wheelbase is better for cornering ability as opposed to longer which is beneficial when cruising highways or long straights for stability at speed. These bikes are too light and lack the power to necessitate this mod from anything other than an aesthetic perspective.

Mines a 2023 and the exhaust is too small and doesn’t fit over the flange like yours. Did they send me the wrong one?

I believe so. The 2023 should have the correct flange on it.

@@burnoutbobby they emailed me. Partly my fault , I didn’t remove the gasket they was stuck on. I still had to widen the outlet to fit over cat a bit , but didn’t have to do relief cuts like yourself. Thanks for the reply!
