KTM EXC-F SICASS Keyed Kill Switch Installation

So then, in todays video we have the SICASS Keyed Kill Switch to put on the KTM EXC-F 350 as it doesn't have an ignition key by default. It's something I have planned to do since purchasing the bike and have researched all the various makes and models. Many thanks for this video. SICASS instructions had me taking off the seat and fuel tank. Thankully your video shows where the bullet connector is as the cable from the kill switch goes into sheathing making it impossible to trace its route. All done and works like a dream

I just bought 05 Ktm Exc 525. It did not have ignition switch so i have to install it. I just ordered plug and play- styling key-switch. Thank you for the video! Now i can easily do it :D

Thank you for your video , just installed a similar kill switch (other brand from Europe) on my 2018 450 , no issues except as other have stated the bullet connector 😆. Works as it should , straight forward install.

Great video explaining, i just bought the same kit for my 2022 te300i. It all works fine but after starting it up i got an orange engine lamp. do you have any idea why that could have happened?

Was the bullet connector you had to tee into the kill switch cable that comes from the LH kill switch near the horn?

The bullet connector was under the gas tank for me. Just had to unbolt it and move it a smudge

I bought the sicass switch as well for my 2017 ktm250xcw. Key switch works with E start but I can kick start it and it turns on....same set up like yours but I can't figure out how to kill the kick start. Had an 06 ktm 450exc but both E start and kick start would work properly with the sicass set up. Can't figure out the problem....

Not a flippin clue! 🤣 There must be a wire from the kicker to the CDI though right. It's whether or not it can be tapped into though I guess. Saw the end off and take it with you 😃

It's a 2013 mate. They changed in 2014.

I forgot the keys and we try to bypass with the cables and one of my friends open the key switch and see if he make it work but none of this worked. so I got the sicass bypass but still no working. I check the fuses box everything its fine. any Idea what it can be. 2019 ktm 350 exc-f

@@dynamotightstar3472 if you’ve lost the keys for a SICASS KIT, then either use the spare provided (it’ll also have a key code), order the replacement or to bypass the kit - remove it in the opposite way to installing. More likely to be a problem with your bikes wiring

@@strachan213 I have the keys but they do not work. someone told me something about ktm electronic ignition was blocked and need to take it to the dealership. not sure if is true or not.

@@dynamotightstar3472 mines literally 2 plugs. what i did want to know is nowhere to be seen. regarding the lugs on the switch and the slots in the bracket, i take it the lugs push through the slots, then do you spin the switch round a bit so they are not lined up or leave as is? :o/
