@@DjRevvz just stuck a screw driver in the filter and pull it out. That's how it's done.

Hey bro a tip for ur oil filter from another rc owner take a paper clip and bend the end to make a tiny L snap thing make two and then use them to pull the filter out it’s hard to explain but it makes it so much easier

1)My RC390 has max engine oil capacity of 1.7L. So can I fill 1.5L only? Or it should be exact 1.7L? 2)If my RC390 runs only 3500kms per year and I am filling fully synthetic oil in it, then can i change the oil after 1.5 or 2 years?

It’s better to change it when ur supposed to because oil sitting isn’t good either but the dash tells u when to service I suggest 200 miles before it says to is good also u should always us full synthetic no matter what 15w50 for this bike in specific I recommend motul for pretty much all fluids ktm and for the capacity yes fill it to 1.7 liters always better a little bit extra then not enough

Thanks for the video my guy I just picked up a 2015 yeah I never trust oil specs personally as a mechanic they almost seemed to never work out I always get extra visuals for me are more accurate than the specs but at least they give you a rough estimate

A tip for pulling the old oil filter out. Just punch a hole in that metal top of the filter and try to pull it out with a screw driver, so you won't scratch the engine case

I typically placed 1.6-1.8 of oil. Sweet spot.

Is it recommended to tilt the bike to make sure everything is out or is this not necessary? Great video with nice angles and quality by the way 👍

You can just add extra oil and drain again to ensure you removed all old residual oil.
