KTM RC8 RED BULL WITH FULL AKRAPOVIC EXHAUST

My new 2009 KTM RC8 fitted with the Full Akrapovic exhaust and ecu remap. Superstock Red Bull paintwork by Dream Machine. 40t KTM supersprox rear sprocket, Billet Q/R black fuel cap, several carbon parts, Dark tint screen, KTM sliders.
The video does not do the sound of this exhaust justice !!

This is probably the most beautiful Super Sport Bike out there. The lines look razor sharp from every angle. The front headlight assembly is just plain SICK! It sounds like a beast also. I just think it is way over priced at $20K+. With the way the economy is the bike is about 5yrs to late to the market. Most ppl don't have $20k to spend on a toy, and let's face it bikes are toys......very few ppl depend on them as daily transportation unless you live in Europe or Japan. Beautiful Bike!

Love the exhaust location, simple and unintrusive. KTM Super Duke is another option if you like the "Naked Street Fighter" look.

The paintwork is great, they made a fantastic job visually. Only downside is that the paint seems to chip much easier than factory paint. Ventureshield sorts that out though.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Why did you go from the KTM to the RSV-4 to a Gixxer 750? The KTM,and Aprilia are two rare bikes, rarely seen on the road. Just curious, because while i'm a die Hard kawasaki ZX-10 fan i'd find it hard not to keep either of those bikes.

@nonameriders Hey mate. For the KTM superbike kit its advisable you run on 102 octane BUT this is easily avoided and can be used with 98 octance by having them do a remap at the dealer I had the superbike kit installed on a stock RC8 The kit transforms it into an RC8R and more. Also remapping is done with headers and pipe on. you can reset it your self by waiting till engine is cold starting up and leaving it idle for 10mins or till thermo fan starts up. But dont touch throttle or dash for 10mi

one of my mates has one with akrapovic, fucking amazing bike, burnouts, wheelies he does all of that... and he gets alot of attention with it! But the bike is perfect... after drz400sm my bike will hopefully be ktm 690smc! :) KTM do make very good bikes, especially the new generation... without any faults!

Sold the RC8 and bought the RSV4. Loved the RC8 but for some reason they do not hold their value at all. They ride better than anything and sound great. Anyone looking for one you can pick one up cheap and they are a bargain.

@mushrume Doesn't Ducati run a L-twin in Motogp? So how are they outdated? The current Motogp champ has a V-4 design which i'll admit is a nicer design but makes less power than the L-twin and its heavier.
