How to prove your series is a joke: Don't penalize a rider for blatant dangerous actions resulting in injury. Let said rider race a race he didn't even qualify for.

Worst part is it isn't the series' fault, it's the stewards appointed by the FIM. Though I'm not shocked. As a MotoGP fan I'm used to the FIM stewards making a mess there too.

@kjpr00, I don't think they're too bad in MotoGP though. They get some calls wrong for sure, but not as bad as in mx. They will be better starting next year, too. Simon Crafar is the new Chairman of the FIM Stewards.

They won’t get rid of him because people pay for the drama he brings. Everyone says they don’t want to see someone get hurt but in reality it makes people pay attention more. This makes a ton of money because they know Vince is a problem and the other riders hate him.

@ you completely misunderstood. They’re watching the chaos he creates with major rider like roczen deano tomac etc. controversy brings up conversation and media gets to cover it. Then the riders bring up Vince’s name more and more, giving him publicity. This in return brings media money, more viewers, and fans who always need a villain in sports. You may hate him but entertainment comes in many forms.

Looking back not the first time bankruptcies saved KTM. Riders just need to take care of Vince. When he hurts Eli or Jett. Maybe then?

I think he wont. I think the top riders are just fast enough to race him clean and there is nothing he can do about it. Dean is faster but he is not on the top 5 rider level. Friese is just stupid and will always hurt the 5 to 15 riders, otherwise he cannot get any good result.

I'd rather not see a washed-up 450 rider sandbagging the 250s. but i guess it's a better series. the lack of fans and being a sideshow during another series' race weekend is kinda depressing as a fan though. I think it was the previous round. a carnival or something was going on around?

@@danegwho cares about the crowd. The racing is heaps better. If you follow the sport you’d know that rides were limited and the “sandbagger” would much rather be in the 450’s but that’s the offer he had. Do some research, you sound like a casual

@@daneg The crowd at Adelaide chose to stay and watch the races at Adealaide which came after the main v8supercar events. There was roughly 100,000 people a day at that race and the supercross was opened up to the spectators to hopefully create some new fans.

Yeah very true, which is the exact business model WSX bring. Nobody’s going home with empty pockets in WSX the teams riders everybody’s getting paid, they’ve obviously still got plenty of issues to sort out but it is nice to know that these guys are getting rewarded for their efforts

Vince is a disaster for the sport! Some aggresive riding is ok, but you just have to draw the line somewhere. It has been crossed many times imo. How team and anyone can support him is beyond me. Thats even more. How can you have your brand represented by someone that does stuff like this again and again. Unbelivable. I will never ever buy anything I know is linked to him.

well...three of them are the same (KTM group). even if the company survives, it's all the same bike/parts. we'll see about the new brands. personally, I think the market is shrinking and the competition is growing...at least for MX. dunno about other uses of MX bikes though.
