I think I'm with you. Lately I've favored light weight and agility over power. As agile as their 1290 is at 460 lbs, imagine this little bastard coming in at 400 flat and hopefully pushing out 120hp!

This old promo video always had me captivated as a kid. Even today, what with that engine platform progressing all the way to the RC8C. Something about this minimalist prototype, the task the rider has chosen, and the soundtrack. 285 crank exhaust, that is.

Personally, this prototype Duke 790 is way better than the production model of Duke 790, Duke 890, and Duke 890 R. It got the looks and attitude. KTM has done wrong with this production model.
