When my nephew passed away at 8 months old my sister was so numb she didn't cry for a long time! Her grieving shouldn't be the focus. Their lie detector tests were inconclusive. That explains why they aren't grieving. They already know what happened. There was a lady recently who went out EVERYDAY looking for her missing 22 year old son. He was finally found deceased. For me, I think I'd stay in the area looking for a 2 year old as long as I possibly could, but that's just me. I'm just comparing her to this other Mom who was actually out by herself at times looking. If people stop looking, it's most likely because they know what happened.

I've knocked around in the back country all my life and have worked as a ranger for the National Park Service. I know how easy it is for even an experienced adult camper/hiker to become disoriented in wild lands. I'm also a parent and know how a small child can disappear in the blink of an eye. I don't think there's anything "off" or criminal going on here. Great-grandpa spaced out for a moment (or longer) while watching Baby DeOrr and the toddler toddled off. Sadly, this kind of thing happens all the time in the wilderness -- to adults as well as kids.

Wolves are very sneaky and since they were reintroduced back into Idaho their population had risen. Wolves also track for a long time and take the most vulnerable and sometimes bury their prey to keep birds and/or other wild animals from taking it. A mother in another country was in prison after her child went missing and ofcourse she didn't harm her child and years later clothing was found half buried and once it was tested the clothing had the DNA of a dingo.

@beautifuldreamer42304 жыл бұрын
@Natalie Marie just because they may believe/endorse the theory that the baby was abducted doesn't even begin to suggest that they believe that in ANY way he's still alive!!! Abduction doesn't equate to a child being alive years later; in fact, the odds are that if he was abducted he would have been killed in the first 24-48 hours after he was taken! Also, I didn't really get the feeling that the parents are endorsing the abduction theory but rather that they have no idea what could have possibly have happened to their baby and abduction is simply one of many, many things to consider.
@NatalieMarie9174 жыл бұрын
Beautiful Dreamer I’ve seen enough of their interviews to feel confident in that assessment. Including the “outtakes,” if you will. And of course being abducted doesn’t necessarily mean that he’d still be alive, but it would justify holding out hope... especially so soon after it happened. In cases like these, the vast majority of people hold out hope for years and years, and invest much more time and energy into finding their missing child (either dead or alive) than what we’re seeing with these two. It would be more understandable if one of them was losing hope, but BOTH of them..?!

He was lost in the woods so either aliens abducted him he was killed or lost. Kidnapping... could be but extremely small possibility. I think that baby is dead in the woods and I'm pretty sure the parents understand that. A 2yr old can't eat berries in the woods forever. Animals water and winter. If they'd had helicopters with infra red they may have found him alive back when he disappeared.
@drmantistobboggangonzodr39614 жыл бұрын
I agree & had similar thoughts....the dad makes it very clear that his focus is on clearing his name because other people questioning his innocence has made life hard for him, it doesn’t sound like his focus is on finding out what happened to his son, if he’s possibly still alive or if the perpetrator is still out there hurting other kids and needs to be brought to justice, wondering possibly if his son was hurt and what he was feeling in his last moments if he is no longer living... I’ve never seen parents of missing kids not wanting closure, to at least know what happened. That struck me as odd. People do react differently to stress and pain, some go into shock some scream, etc. and it is very important not to rush to judgement and hold court in the court of public opinion! However given the amount of discrepancies in the parents statements I can see why so many in their own community don’t exactly trust their version of events anymore. I wasn’t there and don’t know what happened, it’s tragic though and I feel so sad for that little boy, and for anyone crying out for answers who loved him and did not harm him.

When the older girls dad took his daughters for his weekend visit, he invited the 3 year old too so she could go to the graduation party and have a fun day at the lake with her sisters. Her mom initially didnt want to say yes but decided to let her go, she trusted her ex husband. When the 3 year old died, the mom wasnt there of course so she wasnt a suspect, this was a tragic accident but the ways the mom grieved and the dad grieved was totally different. To say the mother in this case is a suspect because of how people perceived her behavior is not a reliable marker.
