This has nothing to do with "too many guns out in the open." This has to do with degenerate, wayward youth who have no moral and ethical guidance in their lives. Their parents suck and have done a horrible job raising young adults who will likely go on to have crime-filled lives.

@@jt8251 A lot of this though can be blamed on the lack of freedom kids have. Kids need to socialize, play, work, shop, eat, and more, and in many suburbs they can't without owning a car. However in walkable places like downtown Walnut Creek you will frequently see kids doing all of that and more. Most parents will say that they do not want their kid walking to school because they don't want their kid getting kidnapped by a stranger, whereas in reality almost all kidnappings are family-related. These suburbs with single family homes have no sense of community, no sense of place, no sense of belonging, and no sense of freedom.

Walnut Creek used to be quiet and calm, but now people get robbed at gunpoint coming out of restaurants, primarily for Rolex type watches, it’s no longer a pleasant area to visit-it’s not just the teenagers, it’s angry middle-age guys with pick up trucks, who road rage people, and angry baldheaded guys with aviators who drive red, sporty cars and pull out off-duty police badges to justify their road rage, the badge may have been fake. I’m not sure. are used to love going to downtown Walnut Creek for dinner, etc., never again, the lack of etiquette and manners and people there and I have discouraged, many many of my friends and family from going there too, everything from bad experiences at autobody shops, to having car broken into three times in garages there, to waiting in cheesecake factory for three hours, only to not be seated at all, it’s ridiculous. That city is gone really downhill.
