That also Asoka stone writings. Look at the archeological proofs. There were many universities in India, then what happened to those universities? Have you anytime made some research on how various indian languages developed? For example, Malayalam was written square or rectangular kind of scripts. There was no prose in Malayalam. There were only poetry. Study and research on this. Similarly other languages. Who wrote first grammar book for Hindi, Telungue and Gujarati? Please research on this. Then you come back with a reply. Don't shoot in the dark.

It was modern medicine that made the difference. Proselytizing lot are always looking for disasters and depraved situations around the world . Leprosy was one such condition that they found another opportunity. Although I must admit that there were many well meaning and humanitarian people who contributed to the charitable efforts of the proselytizing lot! You are talking of Hindu Jatis but read also how they treated leprosy sufferers in the biblical times! Read also the book ‘les miserable’ by Victor Hugo to find the class divisions in Europe. Don’t forget the the slave trading, slavery, racism and second class treatment of women in the so called ‘civilized world’! Even the slaves were Christians, having converted them and still treated as such! Every community has positives and negatives!
