This is going to be a long read but I must say how beautifully you present this video,It's is good to see that you always choose informative videos unlike those others on KZbin.. this will really help those travelling overseas especially mother with infants travelling first time ,rather than being nervous about how is it gonna be in the flight, they can atleast prepare themselves on what needs to be done especially with diaper change in the aircraft toilets. I know few people who told me that they don't even get up from their seat even if they wanna go to toilet coz they are not sure how the toilet works.. it is funny but scary for them when they dont know much about aircrafts. Waiting for another informative video from you Divya ,thanks for sharing your knowledge 👍

Very informative. I only ask mothers to be careful while feeding. Atleast two cases of babies dying occured in last 10 years while feeding on takeoff. One of that at kozhikode airport. Our pediatrician adviced to used nasal decongestant spray before takeoff to ease discomfort.

Hi Divya.. thanks a lot for these tips. Will be really useful because I will be flying next month to Scotland. I have a doubt. While in airport, if I want to ise he washroom, will the ground staff take care of my baby if I request? How should I handle that situation dear..please help. Another concern is that when I checked ticket booking in qatar airways, they considered us as 2 passengers though my baby is less than 1 yr. So in that case, will I get a seat exclusively for my baby? If so, then I must have an aircraft car seat also with me right? Hope it should be ECE or FAA approved. Please reply me. Thanks

Hi Swapna, I am not sure how the ground staff can be helpful during this pandemic situation. One year old baby is considered as an Infant and shud not be given a seat. The website says two passenger but the baby is considered as infant. You can cofirm this by checking the fare. You can carry the car seat and as u said it shoud be FAA approved. For the infant if there is no seat how will you use it? You can avail the baby bassinets on board the aircraft.

Yes Harsha, the policy is one infant per one adult. All airlines doesnt provide bassinet services.

First of all dont be nervous... 😊😊 Flight travel is very easy these days. 1: baby stroller is allowed till the aerobridge. At the bridge the airline tag it and take it to the cargo. You will either get at arrival bridge or at the baggage belt. That depends on airline. So check with them. 2: If you are sitting in the first row then you will have to keep ur bag in the overhead bin ONLY for take off and landing. After take off you are free to use it. If you are on any other row you can keep it with u. 3: Reg seats I have already done a video. I will share the link. 4: As far as I know AI express is fine since dubai is a short flight. They do not provide food but they do give some sandwiches and drink. So pack something for kids and you or prebook a meal. No bassinet seats available for babies. Wish you a safe flight.
