Ma’am living in Chicago for the last 15 years plus. I am from Haripad and my Appachi lives in cheetikulangara. Every year we used to go to her house for bharani. The places are so familiar. Nostalgia is the word. Even now when I visit India I go back with my achan to visit my Ammumas place which is Evoor and I feel so nostalgic because these are the places I have visited as a kid with my grandmother.
