ha! i've discovered this 'pinoy mall' exactly a month before lockdown in malaysia in february 2020, it was really chaotic but fun place to visit lol and especially if y'all wanna buy pinoy snack, their local meals or even beautician stuff imported from the phillipine, etc but yea well done Dale, this is truly what a traveling all about, exploring real gem!

As a Filipino, I'm really enjoying this video! :) The leche flan is basically a creme brulee :) This made me crave halo-halo. Good thing I'm in the UAE, where there are also lots of Filipino restos :D

Halo Halo I’ve seen people eat so many times, looks delicious. Filipinos of certain areas use many Spanish words and leche (milk) is one of them, crème brûlée or similar I think is leche flan.

She sells food and you get subscribers.🤣 I was laughing so hard (after initial shock) when you told that guy you have a feeling he likes banana!🤣 I was in that mall last month and failed to notice the Filipino bent? Love KL, try to go every few years (I'mfrom the USA) and love the Filipino people, they are easy to joke with and so funny. Try an ensaymada without the cheese. Also Leche flan is just milk custard like the European Flan, creme Brule, creme caramel...they were a Spanish colony (Spanish words) then an American colony after (English words).

The restaurant owner was super hospitable and accommodating. What a sweetheart! My sister in law is Filipino so I'm well aware of Ube lol. You can get ube anything, ice cream, cookies, cake, smoothies. It's such an amazing flavour, hard to describe, but it's sort of like a milky sweetness. Almost tastes like shortbread, but still doesn't quite describe it. It's so good though. It's trendy here in the Vancouver region right now, as we have a ton of Filipino immigrants. Maybe the friendliest people in the world.
