Hi my mom is from Germany and my dad is from Russia, I am from USA. Art lab spaseeba. My favorite songs are Slavic/Kassack folk/volk and Bavarian. Mein mutter ist en Munchen mein Deutscher Komrade. Awesome don't be an achlocht I can tell right away he is German and you know how? He said VOLK and not FOLK song only a German would do that. F= V in German keyboard warrior fake internet tough guy. So Alexander this is not just a story about WAR/Kakadan it is also a love story. The soldier loves his wife or fiance but she cheats on him. He still loves her and she still loves him but he chooses war over her. He wishes for a quick death but his horse saves him from the fire. When he dreams, he dreams about her. That is why Russian girls usually cry when they hear this song.

Yes he is I know because I am German and you should not talk you are JAPANESE what are you doing on a Russian/Cossacki page trying to kiss our butt or something? Guys here is the BEST English translation I could do. Remember translating Russian to English is like trying to translate German to Arabic. When we were at war When we were at war There everyone used to think about their Beloveds or about their wives There everyone used to think about their Beloveds or about their wives And I could certainly think And I could certainly think About the times when I looked at a pipe In her blue smoke About the times when I looked at a pipe In her blue smoke Like when she lied to me sometimes Like when she lied to me sometimes But the his girl's heart gave love to someone else for a long time But the his girl's heart gave love to someone else for a long time But I didn't think about them at all, But I didn't think about them at all, I just smoked a pipe with bitter Turkish tobacco, I just smoked a pipe with bitter Turkish tobacco, I just shoot bullets faithfully I just shoot bullets faithfully hoping to appease my pain and to set a limit to our hostility hoping to appease my pain and to set a limit to our hostility When we will be at war, When we will be at war, to meet the bullets flying on our black horse to meet the bullets flying on our black horse But it looks like death it's not for me But it looks like death it's not for me and my black horse carries me away from the fire again and my black horse carries me away from the fire again

And about the mentality, I think you do not understand the difference between "imperial" and "imperial". Unfortunately, such a big country with such a diversity of cultures and historical heritage - bad and good, can either be an empire, or disintegrate.

Lyrics in English: When we were at war (War song from Crimean war, 1853-1856. ) When we were at war, When we were at war, Everybody there thought, About his loved one, or his wife, Everybody there thought, About his loved one, or his wife. I could have, of course, have thought too, I could have, of course, have thought too, While I was watching my pipe, and it's blue smoke, While I was watching my pipe, and it's blue smoke. Oh, how you were once lying to me, Oh, how you were once lying to me, That you gave your heart away, to different man, long ago, That you gave your heart away, to different man, long ago. But, I was not thinking about anything, But, I was not thinking about anything, I was just smoking my pipe, with bitter Turkish tobacco, I was just smoking my pipe, with bitter Turkish tobacco. I was just waiting for the faithful bullet, I was just waiting for the faithful bullet, So I could extinguish my sadness, and end our hatred, So I could extinguish my sadness, and end our hatred. Next time we are in war, Next time we are in war, I will fly towards the bullets, on my black horse, I will fly towards the bullets, on my black horse. But, obviously, death is not for me, But, obviously, death is not for me, Because my faithful horse again, saves me from the fire (hell), Because my faithful horse again, saves me from the fire (hell).

Have you heard this version of the “ na pole tanki grohotali”? kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4mWZ4Rujt-UpZo Here’s the lyrics I’ve translated into English for that song : “In the field the tanks rumbled” In the field the tanks rumbled The soldiers went to the last battle. And a young commander We carried, his head pierced. His tank was hit by an armor piercing shell Farewell my dear crew. Four corpses near the tank Will add to the landscape in the morning. They will extract us from the debris They will remove the carcass by hand And the salvos of cannon turrets On the last trip will accompany us And then will fly telegrams For, friends and relatives, to tell, That the son will not return And will not be visiting anymore In the corner, the old mother will cry The father old man will drop a tear, And the young bride will never know What was the end of that tanker boy And there will remain a dusty picture On the shelf with yellowed books. In uniform, with epaulettes. Now he is no longer her husband . Have you heard the song “black raven” or “cherniy voron”? It’s a very sad Cossack song , also a war song.

@@ArtLabStudio no dude, you do not understand. These songs were taken by the soviets, just like anything else, for they were not able to do anything by themselves but steal. This song was actually against soviets. Have you ever heard about the White Movement during the Civil War of Russia ? May Lenin rot in the deepest part of hell. Long live the Cossacks and the Tsar .

This song was originally a poem released in the early-to-mid eighties by David Samoilov, and it was set to music by Viktor Solyarov a few years after Samoilov's death. It's not a Cossack song.
