I would say that you must use that Kubota quite a bit. That's much higher quality than a lot of the stuff sold today. Awesome video. I have added places to plug in usb stuff on all my lawn and garden stuff just to keep stuff like phone, frs radios, or anything else charged up while I'm working. A nice add on.

Nice video. Very helpful. Do you have one for replacing the seal on the hydraulic cylinder? Is it easy to do once I have that tie rod off?

too bad that none of the tie rods have grease zerk fittings installed on them. It would make them last much longer. You can drill one in if so inclined.

Agreed, but I will say these lasted nearly 500 hours of really hard work. Not bad!

@@FarpointFarms that sounds about right, I purchased a used B7400 with 550hrs. the tie rods on a drag link are egged out...have to buy an entire thing for $300. I'll be cutting them off and install greasable Moogs instead

That is not as easy as you make it look. The part when you use the 1 1/6 wrench to remove the tie rod does not work like that when the whole shaft just turns.

use a pair of channel locks to hold the shaft in place

@@FarpointFarms Are you kidding, channel locks will not even come close to holding that shaft. This is one of those videos that just gets people in trouble when things do not go the way you show them. There is a flat spot on the other end of that shaft that you can get a very thin wrench on if that shaft turns,or you can hold the same spot on the other end that you have your wrench and if the end you are working on breaks free first you are ok ,if not then you need that thin wrench. Never try and hold on the shaft with channel locks or a pipe wrench because they could mark the shaft and then take out your seals on your steering cylinder. This is a very misleading video.

@@daveminish8074 Sir, I did the job live on video. If you can't do it, that is fine, but the other few thousand that managed to do it like I show would say otherwise. it's literally a 30 minute job.

Yes it can be 30 minute job if everything goes just right it can also be 3hour job if things do not . There are a few other videos that show some of the potential pit falls , they are much more helpful @@FarpointFarms

My shaft just turns and the flat spot on opposite end (left side) is too thin for a wrench. With the end apart the wrench doesn’t have enough area to allow the force need to break the lock tight on right side. 😢
