Kubota BX2380 vs B2301

I just picked up a B2301 loader tractor, i love it so far! I have had a great L3200 gear drive since 2013 for food plots and trail mowing. I decided to get B2301 hydro for a loader tractor. Because a gear drive tractor isn't the best for a loader.

The engine model D902 designates 902 cc which = 54.8 CID same with D1005 cc

Great video ,i was considering a BX23S gut having heard its limitations i am moving up to a 2301 or a 2601 with a backhoe . i do not want to be underpowered for a few thousand bucks

The BX isn't underpowered, its just lighter weight, and smaller, so of course its lift capacity is lower. You run out of traction with a BX before you run out of power is what I've found with my BX2680.

Do they both take the same 60” MMM deck? Good comparison. No replacement for displacement. More displacement an more weight coupled with 2 more gal output hydraulics equal more capacity an quicker also more ground clearance. I’m torn would love the B. But I will be using it to mow. I think the Bx can do just as much work just a little slower. Like I say I’m torn I want one or the other both will accomplish what I want I think.

In the same boat as you. I'm looking at the BX more because of space. I only have an acre, and limited space in my barn and storage areas so the slightly smaller scale of the BX would be a huge benefit in my case...either model would be fine for anyone else, but in my case the BX being slightly smaller just gives me more places I can get to on my property with my tractor. Had to push back my purchase due to some issues with the bank but that's fine dealer is out of them anyhow so doesn't do much good worrying over getting a tractor right now anyhow. Dealer sold out of their inventory of BX and B tractors within a month, their inventory I guess usually lasts them 3-4 months, they've been busy this year with all the virus crap going on everyone decided they had too much money suddenly and bought tractors I guess LOL.

William Sevier I have both the 2301 and the Bx2380. The Bx2380 I bought after the 2301. I needed a mid mount mower and more stability for my hilly rough mowing. It’s quiet and the power steering is awesome. The low center of gravity enables me to Mow some scary places in my 10 acre property. I bought the 2301 first and it’s great for dump manure and carrying things around the farm. It’s taller than the Bx 2380 and feels less stable on hills. I bought a finishing mower to pull behind the 2301 but will probably use it on the bx2380 instead. So that being said I highly recommend the Bx2380 and wish I’d bought it first. It would have saved me quite a bit of money.

Can you guys do a comparison on the LX2610 and 3310? I need to know if the 2610 can handle digging areas full of small to large chunks of rocks in the ground via front loader and backhoe.

The D1005 is rated for 45ftlbs max and about 35ftlbs continuous. The D902 is rated for 40ftlbs max and about 30ftlbs continuous.
