No problem, happy to help. It's one of my favorite machines.

Thanks buddy, I just bought one from my neighbor who recently passed. It was sitting for years. It has the front bucket and hydraulic pump out on the front, but I wanted it mainly for bush hoggin. You just gave me a wealth of info on the PTO . It took me a whole set of jumper cables that burnt up trying to get it started because I wasn’t sure that I should’ve had the throttle lever up just a little to give it enough fuel to bleed out the injectors….other than that, it started right up once I figured the throttle. Then, I tried like heck to get it to shut off and finally used that finger stop on the throttle. So for $450 I finally got myself a chore helper. I only have 3+ acres, half is woods, but trees are always falling and need cut and lifted with front bucket and it came with a back blade for snow and fixing my gravel driveway. So thanks again for taking time to help an old dummy like me.

No worries, I'm happy these videos help some people every now and again. Truth be told I didn't know how to shut it off once I finally got it started. There is a lot of good info on the forms for maintenance. Bleeding the air is a very simple process that I wish my newer equipment followed.

I just bought an L1500 (the L175's older twin) and was totally baffled... WAS that is... Your video is priceless! Thank you! 😊

I'm glad it helped. I kind of feel bad I didn't trun it off when I was talking. But keep an eye out I will post a fuel filter change soon. The bleeding of the fuel is very simple and works better than the modern systems.

@@Carollascompactconstruction Thank you! but I'm not the 'trouble starting' guy. I just had no idea of which controller or lever controlled or leaved what. I've already did the 'filters and bleeding and hosing and leaking'... now, it's running, and I'm on to 'why is my clutch not clutching?' Sitting for 8 years outside might be a key piece of THAT puzzle... 😅

That's good to hear. I was impressed with the simplicity of the whole machine. The maintenance on it is simpler than my modern tractor. It's honestly still one of my favorite peices of equipment.

Does it have more hauling power than a 4 wheeler? Good for logs etc?
@Carollascompactconstruction3 ай бұрын
Absolutely. The 4 wheeler might have more hp, but the gearing makes this thing a beast. Like most tractors, this would tear down a small house if you can keep traction

Hello thanks for your video. Any video on how to mount the lawn mowing belt?

No I'm sorry I don't have one for that tractor.

How the heck do you check the hydraulic fluid
@Carollascompactconstruction5 ай бұрын
There is a bolt on the side of the transmission. I think it's on the driver side. You fill it until it flows out of that.

Where is the motor oil dip stick
@mikenollan57472 ай бұрын
On the left side of the motor, down under the starter, lying kinds flat, where the oil pan meets the block. You have to kind of dig for it...
