Kubota U17 vs Groundhog KH30D-2 - Operations

Rather have a kubota. I have ran a few. They are all strong machines. I know leave boom out farther on kubota in pick up test and the boom was in closer to the cab on yours when you picked up the kubota. Kubota looks to be more user friendly. Even though it not as "strong". Kubota will do anything you ask of it and run all day. I have run everything out there. Kubota is one of my top picks. I just bought a kx41-3v. Strong little machine.

Still enjoying my ZH20D. Might be in need of a ignition switch soon though as not working quite right this spring.

You picked up Kubota because arm on vas more vertical and closer to the machine, and the Kubota is lighter too.

@@groundhogequipment that is excellent. Some people commented that similar sized machines were not compared but perhaps you should compare similar priced machines so they can see the real difference of what they are getting or not. Great videos. I watch all of them!

A second video coming? I like my zh20d. But have some questions on capabilities. Has worked great so far. But if I held out for another month, I could have/should have gotten the 2 speed option

Why are you comparing a 17 to a 30? Why not compare that 30 to a U26 much closer.

Groundhog is a good machine but your obvious cheating on the tests discredits your company. This does more to drive potential customers away than to convince them to buy Groundhog!

Show me what you want to see and I'm happy to do it. Not sure what you mean by we cheated..... because we were able to do the lift? The U17 would not pick it up and I invite anyone who has one set at factory settings to come by and give it a try. I'm an open book, I would rather people hate or love us honestly than to cheat at anything. I don't want or care about making money to that degree, these are done to provide information and that's it bud. Yeah well for the lift test you had the U17 arm extended further out than you did on your supposed comparable groundhog. Do another video with the arms extended approximately the same length from the machine. The further the arm is extended the more the lift capacity is reduced. Comparing a zero tail swing unit which has a higher center of gravity to a traditional style excavator seems a bit disingenuous to me. Go get a Kx018 and try again. Not knocking your machine at all, just some observations.@@groundhogequipment
