I think so and no. He can't pick it up if it's frozen but after it thaws he can pick it up but if it was frozen mid animation then the animation will continue to go through after the freeze.

@@dakotaclement7751 In terms of versatility it´s the same difference between Bandit and Kaid. Bandit is still played to this day, even though Kaid is more versatile, smaller, harder to destroy. And Kaid lasts for the while round as well, unlike Zoto canisters. He´s fine.

They were consistent though. Zoto doesn‘t affect guns (because that would be stupidly broken), so Zofias gadget, Grims gadget, and Nomads gadgets can be deployed (as they‘re simply launched from the gun, similar to a bullet). The electronic parts (the airjab or the bees themselves) are affected though. I don‘t know how that is inconsistent. And it also has nothing to do with live service games. The Zoto gadget is just stupidly complex (even more than than Mutes).
