I have 3 kuhlis in a tank with 2 nerite snails, 2 bristle nose plecos, 8 danios, and 2 angles. Everyone gets along very well. Just recently I had a chance to see all 3 kuhlis, 1 pleco, and the 2 angels all go to town on a single algae wafer… No fear and all eating it together simultaneously. The angels were particularly careful to make sure they only touched the wafer and not kuhlis. Was a wild sight. My tank is heavily planted and the kuhlis are constantly visible even under moderate lighting playing around and snuggling with eachother like ferrets would, they love winding and weaving through my Ludwigia, popping out and surprising eachother. Hands down my favorite fish. In time angels in a new tank and more kuhlis in.

Thanks for the comment Ryan and that is great to hear, sounds like an amazing tank! How many more Kuhlis are you thinking and how big of a tank? I'm thinking of setting up a new 120 gallon sometime soon.

Is it need oxygen becaue i have a tank without oxygen i have gurami fish

I have a heavily planted 20 gallon with some guppies, nerite snails and Otos and everyone is peaceful and happy and so fun to watch. Lots of places to hide makes everyone happy

@@MikeFish316 very much so! I don’t know how I forgot, but I’ve also got 3 kuhli loach and they also all get along. Tried leopard danios before the loaches and they were just way to zippy and tried to chase and bully everyone else in the tank. Much more peaceful now

Please clarify....@3:14 ...How does "peat moss" replicate their natural environment ? and if this is correct, how does one use it in an aquarium ?

Thanks for the comment, I just meant plants and organic matter in their native region, not for their aquarium. Plants for the aquarium.

Hey, thanks for the comment! Yes, the aquarium should have plenty of surface agitation for these fish so they have plenty of available oxygen. I find my fish are more active when they have more oxygenated water, just my observation in my tanks though (or a lot of plants).
