Hi my name is Danny, I saw that the Kuiu kept you dry. That's awesome, I been thinking about buying the Axis Hybrid set, I mostly hunt whitetails in mountain settings. I'm in North Alabama and it doesn't often get under 20 degrees in late winter, I mean you might get some colder mornings every now and then but rarely so . Do you think the Axis set would cover all my needs?

Thanks for the great videos, you’ve really helped me decide on some good gear! I hunt in the Pacific Northwest and sometimes get stuck out in the rain. I was thinking of getting a set of Yukon rain gear because I hate being wet but I was also considering the Chugach because it’s lighter and a heavy pack is miserable. I’ve been caught in some torrential rain and am often bushwhacking way off trail. What do you think my best option is? Thanks again!!

Very good again Pedro, I think I'm gonna get theAxis set it seems to be the best all around jacket and pants. I have some polyester thermal underwear for underneath if it's really cold, I can handle the cold alot better than the heat. Ok brother that's it, I'll talk to you later.

Great series! I’m in the process of putting together my first Kuiu setup. I’d like to go big hunts in the mountains some day but for now I’ll be sticking to Whitetails in upper peninsula of Michigan. Where I hunt the weather can be unpredictable and I’m nervous about getting cold when I’m sitting. I do like to get out and walk and stalk as well which is one of the reasons for me finally investing in Kuiu. I’m going with the axis pants as outerwear and merino 145 for base. What should I use as a mid layer? I noticed in your video around +\- 4:30 mins you were taking off a bottom layer. Were you wearing 2 base layer? Is that a good idea for warmth while sitting? If so... merino then peloton then axis? The down products are pretty expensive. I’m trying to hold off on those until I really need it for big country. I’m not worried about the upper body because there’s plenty of options on the site. Just not sure about bottoms. I’d really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

So I have both guide and axis. Wasn’t to happy with the guide as far as wind resistance. How do you sir layer up with either for those colder days. In 40’s with wind. I love the camo patterns but I just need some help from a guy that I see hunting in the gear on how to layers. Thank you

KUIU no seria probablemente lo ideal para esperas, ahi no necesitas un sistema por capas ya que no te mueves y el peso no es importante.. Yo uso la Kenai con la Axis, o la superdown pro con la axis por encima, esta segunda opción no tan silenciosa.

Awesome series pedro🤙🏻thanks .... I've got the guide jacket in large (and love it ) when ordering the Yukon gear what size should be ordered. would the down pro fit under ok i will be using it in newzealand for tahr as main and only rain gear (trying to get one with my bow )

You would be the same size, rain shell its size a bit larger to combine with other layers. Good luck in New Zealand!

Pedro, can I ask which rain she'll you used on your black bear hunt with Brian Call? I've heard some people say that the Kutana Storm Shell is durable enough to be used all the time as an outer layer so you don't need both a soft shell and hard shell. Do you think that's true?

For warm weather, really warm my favorite is Gila and the tiburon or kutana pants. It’s like wearing nothing.
