I love that your husband, even though he does not appreciate bold red apparently and declined a knitted gift (uncool!), actually knows the knitting podcast terminology 😂😂 Congratulations for finishing the MKAL shawl! I would never sign up for that but it was so fun to follow your progress. Interested to see how you like the Drops Belle. I made a pair of shorts which I love but the yarn wasn’t the softest on my hands while I was knitting on it. PS. You look glowing in this video 😍 I wish I was nearing summer time as well, right there with you

I agree with you! Muted color combos might be my go-to next year. This was my first MKAL and I was really strict with myself to finish each clue before the week was over.

I finished my mkal about 5 days ago & I absolutely love it & the process & community but it is a lot of work because I put time pressure on myself too! Yours came out beautifully!

Good morning Aro, thank you for another fun podcast. I’ll be interested to hear and see how you like the Cascade 220 fingering weight yarn. I’ve been using Cascade yarn for years however I have at tried their fingering yet. I do like your modification on the final step of the MKAL and really don’t want more chevron stripes. I’m also reviewing my progress on my podcast The Island Lamb. Diane

Hi Ira; I think you diagnosed my problem: "buying rate vs. knitting rate". Yesterday, while purchasing yarn at The Fiber Festival of New England, I received a Postal email that "your pkg. has been delivered"..... my yarn order from Bad Sheep Yarn! Your shawl is beautiful.
