Currently riding a Ninebot D38U (my first kickscoot) Use it for work. Surprisingly decent for a lightweight 350 W front wheel motor. Goes 30km/h but I've maxed it out at 44km/h downhill. I saw a Kugoo G2 pro on sale so I ordered it but quickly cancelled order when I saw this version on sale. Cheers from West Coast Canada. 🥳

@@Joe-yx5vi I have almost 200 miles on mine so far. I'm 6'2" and 240 lbs. I ride mostly flat land with a few ups and downs. I usually go 15 miles round trip with about 1/3rd of the charge remaining, maybe a tad over. I capped my speed to 22 MPH [45% power] (I'm on a trail with lots of pedestrians and I don't ride it in the street, too dangerous in these parts). I'm faster than all the bicycles and rental scooters here. This might get me about 22 miles range if I ride it until battery is drained. My partner, being 5'5" and 155 lbs, can do the same ride and will have more than half of the charge remaining. She probably can get about 30 miles range on it or a few more.

I've had one since the 25th of October, I've done about 250km, and honestly I'm loving the experience. In fact, I think I was one of the first buyers of this model. I decided to take that risk because I loved the e-scooter model. I almost had to order the G2 Pro, when I saw that the G2 Max was available for pre-purchase...I didn't even think twice about opting for the G2 Max.

Bought mine the moment it came up for sale locally. No regrets so far, for the asking price this is the best feature/performance to price ratio scooer released yet, suspension feels great, the scooter itself is built way above typical Kugoo standards (Because the OEM is Unicool Titan group, the same people who make zero 10x and apollo ghost), top speed is perfect and range satisfies me as well. I love almost everything about the scooter except the brakes probably, they perform well enough but over time they will wear down and due to the non standard mount of the front brake its going to be a pain to find a replacement.

Can you elaborate on the brakes comment? You mean replacing pads or the whole part with the caliper?

@@DonLuigi72 the caliper itself. It's basically an inverted bicycle brake caliper of which there aren't many sold anywhere. Pads seem to be the typical round small ones used in most low to mid range scooters, tho I did find it cute how they tried to imitate Nutt brake pad heatsink design on the caliper to make it look more fancy lol.

Kugoos are really good, I have the G2 Pro and it is really well built for the price and all but has now around 3k km and well it's starting to have the typical problems of cheaper scooters, the bar with handlebars starts to move 😅 and well a little other stuff like some strange noises but that's not that important :)

Have you tried cruise control? 8 sec. to engage seems pretty excessive. 90% of the time on G30 I ride with the help of CC, so I am a bit worried this wouldn't fit. I have CC time to engage set to 2 sec. Also this scooter has no regen braking? So no one-finger driving? I do 90% of my braking with the motor set to medium force. I have to say that with XD firmware on Ninebot I am spoiled with exceptionally customizable scooter control. But, roads here are bad so lack of suspension is a real pain. What I wouldn't give for G30 with proper factory suspension for 200 US$ higher price 😎Finally, would you recommend this for city driving with many stop-start cycles, on rough paved roads, possibly in the wet?

Cruise control on more powerful scooters ends up being more of a safety hazard than a feature due to usual traveling speeds. Regen braking is present and adjustable but just like in most scooters it only engages when brake lever is pressed, you don't have to press it to a point where actual brakes engage but once sensor picks up that you are braking, though once again at 50+km/h it won't do you any good. As far as road conditions, yes this scooter works well on uneven terrain but performance in the rain/wet is more reliant on tires used rather than any other part of the scooter and as we know, as long as they fit size wise you can use any tires you want for the roads you typically drive on.

I usually avoid cruise control in the city when speeds are above 25km/h due to safety reasons. Tried to engage it a few times - but didn't notice it is that annoying. I believe there are better choices for city scooters; Really depends on the region where you are; I continue to use Navee N65 quite often, although it has no suspension.
