Thanks so much for the Awesome khukuri. I love it and it's a great design and built by a well experienced kami. It's as good as my Tora's and the leather is twice as thick. I also love the ambidextrous aspect of it. I've already swapped the frog around for a lefty, which I am. Thanks my friend I'm sure I'll be acquiring more of your sweet designs of khukuris. Tell your buddy Barun he did a great job on the Aperion Siripate if you will.👍

Love this blade brother, every time I go out in the yard to mess around I take it. I look for stuff to use it on and it works great on the wood chopping. Thanks again much appreciated brother. 🗡️👍🔪

It’s a great user in all aspects in my experience. I’ve got my kydex and Micarta version in 12 inches blade and it’s been a very nice companion 😊

I don’t think you should try and knife fight…could you show more of the handle?
@sundogforgebydml10502 жыл бұрын
I agree 😂 and I’ll send you a video of just the handle close up if you like?

I would love to see a comparison between this and the Voidwalker Sirupate! This one has over 100gram weight advantage and certainly looks more refined.

They serve different purposes with the VoidWalker Sirupate leaning more towards machete rather then Tomahawk type applications. My favourite of the two is Apeiron Sirupate, hands down. I’m considering adjusting the design for the VoidWalker to move it into a similar role as the Apeiron but with the full kit rather then just the main blade.

@@sundogforgebydml1050 not a bad idea. Although Im not sure the blade itself needs adjustment. The handle seems a bit off but it works very well. I haven't had any issues with the Voidwalker so far on my wood, bit it isn't Australian hardwood! I think my biggest issue with the handle is that there seems to be no focus point like the ring on a traditional khukuri, which I love. However, the handle on my first gen KHHI Scourge doesn't have one but it does have a focus point. Honestly, with a slight handle redesign the Voidwalker Sirupate would be almost 100%. As it sits for me it is about 85% and I love the way it is.

@@sundogforgebydml1050 have you had any issues with your Voidwalker Sirupate?

@@turtlewolfpack6061 that’s some great feedback! Thank you and I’m sure I can adjust the handle easily enough to improve ergonomics 😊 I might include something similar to the Yeti handle as it’s incredibly comfortable and secure in use.

@@turtlewolfpack6061 I did. I bent mine during testing and had the inlay come out. I was using it on thicker woods then it was intended for but that’s why I always buy a prototype and test it out. So I’m thinking of removing the inlay and changing the grind from hollow to saber or high convex with no secondary bevel 😊 Don’t worry. If yours goes the same way mine did let me know. You’re covered 😉
