His village was Kaiyur in Meenachil taluk. He ate a lot and at the same time engaged in amazing physical activities. There are many legends about him. Shankunni has collected and published .He lived to be a hundred years old and is enshrined in a temple. This video introduces the places where the giant lived.

കേരളത്തിൽ പതിനെട്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന അതി ബലവാനായ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനായിരുന്നു കുളപ്പുറത്ത്‌ ഭീമൻ. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശരിയായ നാമം ഭീമൻ എന്നല്ല. രൂപം കൊണ്ട്‌ അങ്ങനെ വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടതാണ്. മീനച്ചിൽ താലൂക്കിലെ കയ്യൂർ എന്ന ഗ്രാമമായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റേത്‌. ധാരാളമായി ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുകയും അതോടൊപ്പം അതിശയിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കായികപ്രവർത്തികളിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. അദ്ദെഹത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഐതിഹ്യങ്ങൾ നിരവധി ഉണ്ട്‌. കൊട്ടാരത്തിൽ ശങ്കുണ്ണി അതെല്ലാം ശേഖരിച്ച്‌ പ്രസിദ്ധികരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. നൂറു വയസു വരെ ജീവിച്ച അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്വ്ഹിരിക്കുന്നു. ഭീമൻ ജീവിച്ച സ്ഥലങ്ങളെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതാണ് ഈ വീഡിയൊ.
