I have had one of those swags for about 10 years. Spent 100s of nights in it. Broke a fair few poles randomly.both my nephews have broken multiple poles too. Got swag sag after a few years ans them started to leak. Havent been able to work out where it's leaking so I bought a new swag different brand. Reslly enjoyed this swag and lots of great camping and fishing trips in it. Mine had the plastic buckles and they were sewn into the swag and never broken them. New ones must have changed thst design.

Good review, honest as ever (100 and a smidge 🥸). We’ve got the kings big daddy double and find it really comfortable just find it’s getting harder to get up off the ground first thing in the morning, would be nice to sit up swing the legs out and stand up. Been waiting on this review since you first mentioned it a while back. Cheers n beers. Keep up the good work.

Those kings doubles are good value! Just bought one for overnighters with Chloe. But can definitely recommend the Kulkyne stretcher if you’re looking for a little more comfort 👍🏼

Gday Cam. So glad I came across your channel, awesome content. Just wondering about the Kulkyne stretcher you use, does it move when you move in the swag? I have a cheaper version (the brand starts with K) and I noticed when I move in my swag at night the stretcher moved as well. It’s gotten to the point now that I tie down my stretcher so it doesn’t move. I like the idea of a stretcher/swag combo that can easily be moved around if needed.

Thanks for review. I'm kind of post purchase watching videos because I'm a bit of a loser. I bought the Big Boy with a deluxe mattress (100mm), stretcher and sleeping bag. I previously, and still do, have the Kulkyne Homestead Single, which is similar, but the stretcher is part of the swag a bit more annoying to set up. That has been great, also super comfortable and good quality. One thing I noticed in other videos, I think the stretcher comes with velcro straps that you can use to attach the corners of the swag (at ring piece) to the stretcher, which will stop the edges sticking up. Another, expensive, but in my experience totally worth it thing is the 4 seasons sleeping bag they sell. Fitted to the swag and used through winter (1 degree~) and slept comfortably. Theoretically goes down to -10c if you're that kind of person (I'm not).

i wish there were clips holding the canvas up throughout the top part as I have a feeling it will sag over time like the kings daddy deluxe. nice swag though overall

I’ve got kings big daddy deluxe too. They just don’t compare, the Kulkyne is a better swag In every way. I spent a fair bit of time in my swag, it’s holding its shape well.

I have had the queen size for about 7 years now. Just recently upgraded to their 100mm deluxe matress and very comfy. I also got a couple of Aussie made leather swag straps from eBay for when those plastic clips finally give way.

Same design. But wider, longer, taller has thicker poles and it’s cheaper. I deliberated for ages over crashpad, 23zero, darche and ARB until I saw one of these Kulkyne in the flesh.
