EKU 28, also named Kulminator is a Strong Ale from Bavaria brewed by Kulmbacher Brauerei. Long considered as the cradle of the German beers, the little town of Kulmbach were called the « Capital of the beer »! EKU Kulminator is a special beer brewed with more malt than other beers to contain 11% of alcohol!

The Plassenburg Castle was owned and lived in by my Prussian/German Ancestors, the Hohenzollern's, from 1338 to 1806.

In the old days they grilled Bratwurst on pine cones in Kulmbach. I did not know that this is not happening any more. Schade.

Wow. I bet that would give them an interesting taste.

I do not know if this is a relief for you: "Beeren" is unrelated to beer as it is the German designation for berries.
@trailblazinpeppers2 жыл бұрын
Ok that is good to know. I believe it also has beer in it since the label says Bierfruchtchen Helle Heidelbeere. It is very tasty and made locally with Monchshof Helles.

@@trailblazinpeppers This is really interesting, using beer for making jelly is rather unusual indeed.
