It only gets really good after Kumagawa shows up in the 3rd arc since he’s such a good antagonist. Also do note that he’s probably not like what other people might make him out to be. People focus way too much on his introductory scene, which is good, but isn’t the most accurate to how he is like for most of the manga.

He got cut through the chest and immediately healed because he imagined that he never got hurt. He can imagine people out of existence and can create life.
