SORRY I FORGOT TO SUBTITLE THE LAST PART! Joey was talking about how they used to swim to the island before, and just grill fish, eat bananas, there were no big fishing boats just small ones - simple living! Also: I misinterpreted "tunga-tunga falls" when it should have been "tungha-tungha falls". Tungha meaning to appear. I guess tunga (you can see it half of the time) works as a daot translation too 😁

Thanks for showing Governor Generoso. As a child growing up across the gulf in Malita in the 50’s and 60’s , my sisters and I would often sit at the end of pier and wave wondering if there were people there who could see us. Had discussions how long it would take to swim the distance. Back then, there were no television or phones. Yet, as kids, we always were not bored. Mail came once every two weeks by private commercial launch. A telegram often meant bad news. People used the radio to send messages to relatives living out of town. Again, thanks.

KD always specifies that he is from Wales. So he has a wales accent. Easy for us to understand he articulates consonants. Scotland that is united with 🇬🇧 is the most difficult to understand. You almost don't hear consonants. Even I thought at that time that 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 is a separate country.

You can go there in lanca by passing through inside governor generoso...a lot of beautiful beaches also in governor generoso, u must try eldon beach resort, jakka beach resort and many others...keepsafe always...

I grew up hearing the expression "Red sky at morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night, sailor's delight." I guess there weren't as many shepherds here in Rhode Island as in Wales - plenty of sailors, though. Just curious, is "maot" a Visayan term, or is it the same in Tagalog? Really enjoyed this vlog. Just to let you know. Maot is a pure bisaya word which means bad. This is commonly used among Mindanao Bisaya. On other hand, Cebuano Bisaya uses the word "bati" which also means bad. This word is not in use in Tagalog areas.
