Love how you came in a little closer...I was watching the letter kumihimo...and commented about getting the camera closer to see how the beads drop in ...love how you introduced the dot method....It was confusing when .I started doing kumihimo...but your tutorials are done so simple and easy to understand ...so now I will pay attention to the dots...thank you

I am glad to hear that this worked for you. The letter kumihimo video was filmed several years ago and it has been a learning process for me. I always welcome constructive criticism.

I love these necklaces! I,too, have been away from Kumihimo for a while. Now I can’t wait to make some of these. Thank you for your concise directions.

Just a bit ago, I was watching the "toggle closure" video--wishing there was a video for the necklace you demonstrated that used the closure. And "shazam" there it was! Love this necklace design, both the colorways, and your "dot to dot" method of keeping track of where you are. Thank you so much, Pru, for sharing this lovely necklace with us.

This necklace only requires a clasp, beading cord and size 8 seed beads in 2 colours, so it is a great way to use up items in your stash. The clasp instructions can be found in a separate video - Kumihimo toggle clasp ending.

At one point in this video I mix up inches and centimetres, but as I am pointing at the tape measure I am sure you will be able to work it out!!

Thank you for this video - I am planning to make one for a friend for a Christmas gift. My question is Do al l8 cords have the same configuartion of 1 Bead A 2 beads B then 1 bead A again?

Thank you for showing how to make this lovely necklace. I am wondering if you could use size 6 seed beads, or are they too big? I have been a seven way braid instead of the traditional 8 way braid using size 6 seed beads. Can you make the tassel ending with a toggle clasp on the seven way braid? Perhaps you could make a video showing that. Thank you so much, Pru.
@prumcrae27793 жыл бұрын
You need an even number of cords to make this type of ending, but size 6 beads can be used.
