Brilliant video Rubina ❤️ I have worked and am still working in the Luxury Beauty segment and you've rightly pointed out the various gimmicks used by brand likes Forest Essentials and now Kama. Selling products disguised as Ayurveda inspired have nothing Ayurvedic about them . They are mostly manufactured by private label contract manufacturers and the brands just keep adding or removing a few ingredients here and there. As for the costs ,you've summed it up beautifully. Thanks for these videos. They not only educate us , but also create awareness towards saving our hard earned pennies. ❤️

@@RubinaSkincare I understood what all of you said. I am using Kumkumadi oil from 'The Ayurvedic Experience' for ₹650/- for 30 ml. I can see my face changes after using only 2 weeks. But I am against Kama & Forest Essentials for over pricing the product. Kottakal Kumkumadi tailam ₹453 for 10 ml is the best oil #1. Even doctors suggest this oil. It's from South India. I am using both from TAE and Kottakal at the same time. Both work fine for my skin.

With the entry of brands like Minimalist, ER, Deconstruct, Sugandha I find there is absolutely no need for expensive products. I don't even bother with Korean skincare because I am too paranoid about counterfeits. I buy direct from Indian brand websites, try to eat clean, n am good. I feel it is more advisable to spend on health food like A2 ghee than high-end creams n serums.

I know a person who actually worked in the kama formulation centre and the brand is very shady, they don't actually put the actual ingredients that they allegedly advertise about. Yes this is a rant and bashing of this brand. The quality of the ingredients are not in the par of the price. Brands of this sort feeds into the fallacy of bogus green and clean viewpoint of the people especially 🇮🇳! If you want to splurge on exorbitant priced product that has very questionable efficacy, then go ahead and by kama, but want to put it in something productive and safe to use ditch this brand completely. Fullstop.

But because I've been following you, within ten days of developing extremely bad cystic acne for the first time, I was not clueless!! I knew the products I needed, the supplements I needed, the tests I needed, the lifestyle changes I must make, and the diet changes I must make. All the co relation b/w stress, hormones, inflammation, skin and hair conditions and overall living standard was so well explained on this channel prior to my condition getting worse. For now, I'm healing in more ways than one. ❣️

I want to point out one thing that a lot products which look pricier because they are imported in India like korean brands Paula's choice. If you buy from an Indian brand and calculate the price like for 30 ml salicylic acid product we are paying 699,799 and then for 100 ml.......you can see how much pricier they are and those imported products becoming cheaper. And if you get discount then boom. I think we all should calculate like this. Only few brands from Indian origin are genuinely keeping the price on point.

Hi mam There is a renowned hospital in Kerala called Kottakkal Aryavaidya shala and their products are made according to the ayurvedic texts. And like you rightly mentioned, ayurveda focuses more on internal medicines. 💛💛💛

*how can I express how much I admire your content without telling you* I basically let the ads run full instead of skipping them on your videos. 🙃 And trust your recommendations blindly even if they change later on! And that’s an absolute first time for me doing it for any any KZbin channel! So honestly! GREAT WORK!

Thank you so much for making this video.....I researched about kumkumadi oil before cz I was also fascinated by it .....however I did not find compelling research on it to be effective......I do not have any kind of platform to share this ..... however u are the 1st youtuber to make such a compelling argument.... I have so much respect for u and your content.... Please make a series on 'beautification of ayurveda' to educate the masses ...

I agree ..also heard about avs kottakal ..is very good....I haven't used it..yet...other brands like tribe concept, shesha beauty...I m not convinced..with them much.....a normal non fancy brand like auravedic...sells it at a vey less ..price...The think is what to believe because in the end it's costs... 👍

I have done one : studio.kzbin.info-ORmo4Hkx30/edit it helps minimize them for sure. once it does get pus- I always use Fusidin on it as its anti bacterial. Once it dies down completely then I use AA or azelaic to get rid of the scar.

Never bought those expensive ayurvedic brands, never will. Happy with my Korean routine, no doubt some Korean products are little expensive but at least the quantity is a lot to last a year or at least 6 months. Also loving products from the Indian pharmacy brands.
