I have been to Ajmer Sharif before and it's purely a magical environment there. There was this sadness and mourning of people but also the ray of hope which made it look like this is the place where black and white submerge into each other. At night, the temperature drops down drastically but it is very comfortable inside the dargah. People gather for Qawwali, there is this giant meal being prepared. And if you stand by the dargah you will see the mountain there, it is just surreal scenic beauty. I will recommend if you are lost in life, go there, spend some time, you will definitely have a self-realisation.
