When I saw how his eyes were when he heard the scream. I can see flashbacks of painful but great memories for him that made him who he is today. IQIYI thank you for posting this moment and PLEASE include more of Cai Xukun's personal notes and moments in the show because they truly are inspirational. A lot of people have no idea what he has been through and think he got it easy because of his good looks. Cai Xukun has been in the industry for many years now and had to experience debuting in a group (SWIN) that was severely mismanaged by its company to the point where the members had to pay for their own promotions, concert costs, album costs and other resources while barely getting paid back. Cai Xukun was a minor at the time! He had to go through a lawsuit against his company while being on contestant in the public eye on Idol Producer season 1, which he fortunately won only for the old company to file a counter lawsuit against him because they couldn't believe that he was making all this money and none of it was going in their pockets. It was never easy for him and fame didn't come to him as readily as it did many other idols in Kpop and Cpop. He struggled and had to fight his way to the top for many years. In his tender years, he has gone through every single difficulty that you can imagine an idol going through from appearing on multiple trainee/produce-type shows, debuting in groups that were heavily mismanaged, had to face abuse from superiors, trained in a foreign country (South Korea) prior to debuting with SWIN, and finally had do everything in his power to get - alone without a marketing/PR team to help him - to obtain opportunities in China. I cant think of any other Chinese idol that has had to start from rock bottom and build his network and career completely by himself the way Cai Xukun has done. Everyone else had some form of support and push from their companies in the beginning then they stood on their feet and did their own thing. Kun never had that and had to work extra hard to be noticed and taken seriously by the industry...now he is his own boss with 2 studios under his name that completely belong to him working with Hollywood and other globally acclaimed producers, directors and choreographers with a massive fanbase supporting his every move. Endorsement companies and sponsors as well as various networks and channels are stepping all over each other to get him to work with them but his fans will never forget the years of struggle they saw him go through to get to where he is today.

Cai Xukun has endured more at his young age than most people can imagine. Not only the hardships of performing, but that huge lawsuit against him and being #1 target of mockery and having millions of antis for simply being selected as a spokesperson for the NBA. When he made that joke about himself finding out basketball was only his hobby, it was actually kind of sad knowing all he and his fans have been through over that. I'm glad more and more bandwagon haters have seen the light and finally realize that he is actually a good human being and does not deserve all the hate he received. He is strong, kind and mature and I wish his career reaches greater heights.

omg dont even get me started on the NBA thing.. I still cant believe that was even an issue!! It was pure cyberbully and harassment at its finest and im glad a lot of celebs and sponsors saw through the crap and ignored it. Kun was the captain of the basketball team at his high school and loves the sport for God's sake..NCT were the spokesperson of NBA in South Korea and none said a word even though most of the member dont play the sport. Yet, the ridiculous hate Cai Xukun got for this was unbelievable!! I still believe it was an excuse for other fandoms to hate on him and so they all jumped at the bandwagon because they couldn't handle the fact that his man without any backing has managed to surpass their fav idols who had far more resources than he did in the industry

Some people really dont understand what he went through to finally get the recognition he deserved I am honestly so proud to see him come from far from swin s to nine percent and to a soloist. I saw new fans to this show who were watching for Lisa saying how he's inexperienced and to new to be the pd of a show he was on two years ago and how Lisa had more experience then him. It honestly made me really annoyed because he's been training for nearly 10 years and he's gone through so many nightmares and has been in the industry since such a young age, and for people to just assume he has lack of experience really made me realize he isn't appreciated enough for the blood sweat and tears he put into his dream and career. He honestly deserves the world for remaining passionate about music and being such a humble kind-hearted person, I hope he will gain more fans and not be overlooked so easily as just someone on the show 2 years ago.

If there's someone who is suitable for this kind of show, it's him. He went through so much. He already went into another survival show before Idol Producer (the show.s name is Super Idol) and he got into the winning group (SWIN-S) yet the company that manage them screw up so bad he had to sue the company at the age of 19. He joined Idol Producer without a company backing and lawsuit still going on. He thought Idol Producer was his last chance to perform on stage and he always practice so hard until his fansites didn't see him going off from the practice room because he stayed there until the morning. He actually won the show and became the center of Nine Percent and won the lawsuit after months of debuting. Now he's one of the most popular stars in China. He has tons of fans but also lots of haters who want to sabotage his career. He believes only his works and stages that can bring him sense of security, as popularity is not something that can last forever but your works are something that people can remember forever. I admire him so much.

you see kun's face when he sees the girls crying, as if he were saying "i remember the feeling." he's been through this, and you can tell he cares for the trainees. he may have massive stage presence, but an even bigger heart. i applaud every single person who enters a produce show, because it's very brutal and rigorous. you put your health on the line for a chance to debut as a group, and even then, contracts don't last very long. nine percent, wanna one, and ioi disbanded after a year. even if you have a contract for a few years (like x1 with five or iz*one with two and a half), you could always disband early, even after putting all your work into it. in conclusion, stan kun (and his fellow members), support iz*one so that they don't disband, and justice for x1. The English subtitles aren't like 100% accurate but you get the gist of what they were saying. I've been binge-watching the first season since I have no motivation to do work (big oof) so I can see why people are fans of him. And ofc I turned off the subtitles (ofc there would be a few words idk) cause a few episodes in they weren't even timed correctly or like perfectly correct either. The editing for the girls really stepped up, glad that it's a whole lot less confusing who they are for performances lmao. 加油啊！

I just can’t help but imagine how all the trainees feel who have trained for years and have to do assessments every month, especially in kpop. If they make a mistake it could be the end and even after debuting it doesn’t always mean they made it. We’ve seen idols drop like flies once something major occurs or if they have health issues or is disliked by fans.
