@@affigirl3167 I learned from my NANI MAA to make a tasty haleem the ratio of Daal CHANAA should be double the amount of all the DAALs your putting in your Haleem for example if you are putting in one cup of every DAAL then put in 2 to 3 cups of DAAL CHANAA because it brings out the taste of Haleem. The exact ratio of pulses should be according to your serving Like I usually put in 1 Cup Of each Daal 3 cups of chanaa daal 1 cup of rice and 2 kilos of beef or mutton bone less This ratio is good for 10 people. If your cooking for less then put in half of every thing. First cook the meet with the masala available in your home no need to put in dabba wala masala believe me it will bring out a big taste difference in your Haleem Boil all the Daals with rice separately once the meat is cooked to the point were it starts breaking easily then mix in your boiled Daals. Here is the hard part now because for 10 to 15 minutes you have to mix everything ( GHOOTA LAGANA HY) until every thing is smooth. Your Haleem is ready garnish with fried onions ginger and green chilies.
