⁠@@isaacanimalogo-4548Yep! They’re more colesely related to raccoons than pandas. Another species people seem to get confused about are Tanukis (Japanese raccoon dog) which are canines. Not at all related to raccoons. Their closest relatives are foxes 🦊

The peacock was the perfect villain for Po! I think they used a peacock to distract Po with his repressed memories. Peacocks use their tail to distract predators, which we can see Shen use when fighting (and when before Po got cannoned). His tail feathers distract Po because it reminds him of a horrible past which gives Shen an advantage. Shen felt so wronged by his parents which led to him to "make things right". Po was wronged by him but instead chose to move on. Some also say that the black and white warrior could also be Shen with him dying by his own weapon. During the last fight, he clearly cut off the ropes which collapsed the cannon. He realized he will never win to Po, closed his eyes, and accepted death. This movie is poetic which is why its a fav classic of mine. Nice reaction! Cant wait for the third movie ^^

Shen was a leucistic peacock. There are white peacocks in real life. I really like your insight that the one sheep was wise and went against peer pressure to help Po and the Furious Five, but all the wolves were acting like sheep by blindly following Lord Shen

I remember reading somewhere that the wolves were extremely loyal to shen. Mainly bc they were outcast and shen was the only one who showed them love. As he was also an outcast bc of his white feathers.
