The craziest thing is that this was actually shown at the Cannes film festival. Which is basically the most prestigious film festival in the world.

Love the movie, so many levels to it, it sucks that most people do not get all the references. I am 43 and i pretty much picked up on all of em at this point, but so many that are 39 or younger are missing out on tons of related content to the 80's. I watched this a couple times with my 12 year old and took me over an hour to explain what so many shots are referring to, especially the kung fu references alone are crazy ( Bruce Leroy for example)

You mentioned the accents, the reason they have a bit of accent or a lot (some of them) is because the cast in this movie are all Swedish I believe, David Sandberg included. Was rad as f**k too watch though, haha. Such a throwback.

Hasselhoff has a video for this movie, just look for it. It's basically the Hoff, in a music video version of the movie. The scene at the police station. They could only afford one police officer costume. So they used the same one on different actors and then just cgi'd them all into one scene.
