Katie is my favorite reporter, news anchor. She has the empathy, spunk and girl nextdoor quality that makes her so relatable.

What a FANTASTIC interview. Certainly one of the best I've ever seen. It's too bad Katie Couric's current KZbin Channel is not of this quality. I have always been keenly aware of Katie's talent, having worked with her on a few occasions. I immediately fell in like with her. I recognize the voice, but who is the interviewer? She did an excellent job. I'm surprised I'm only seeing this for the first time now.

Good interview. Love Katie. Without her breaking down and sobbing about the saddest of stories, u can feel her compassion and empathy for other people. I loved her as a cbs news anchor.

I love Katie. She, for me, in the thirty years that she has been bringing me news from far-flung places, has always been the PERFECT blend of humility, dignity, credibility and truth, honesty, accessibility, and charm, elegance, and grace. Many kudos. 🏆

Katie is so different from other reporters in TV. She is still fresh faced, great personality, sharp as anyone and has a relaxing way of relaying information and interviewing guests.

I have been a fan of Katie Couric since her time on the Today Show with Bryant Gumbel. She is one of the best journalists out there.

I Love 💕💕 Katie Curic. She is a very smart, intelligent, and talented. But, most of all, what I like about Kati is also, she is a very humble, modest, nice, and good person. I MISS KATIE! I HOPE SHE COMES BACK TO TELEVISION.

I was watching the Today Show on 9/11 as I was getting ready for work. I was running late. I had an hour commute to work. My colleagues had no clue what was going on. I’m emailed my boss asking her about what was happening and whether I should stay home and she said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. We have a lot to do today. You need to come in.” I drove in thinking bombs might fall from the sky (I was in the Boston are). But Katie’s coverage gave me the calmness I needed to go in. Because she didn’t panic, I felt safer. She is truly a national treasure.

1:07:00 I don't think that was intended to be funny. How horrible for a teenage girl to have to deal with that.

LOL GMAB "empathy": she wrote her book like she was still in 8th grade, bad-mouthing all the people she didn't like. No class.

@@rachelstark2391 I believe it would be her last book, Going There. I didn't read it. I don't intend to, as I have heard that she has slammed too many people, but I did enjoy this interview.
