Completely different. Boruto isn’t some original story it’s a sequel to one of shounens popular anime. Killing someone like naruto is much bigger than jiraiya.

@@jaahman0098 not really, it does the same thing. Shounen protagonists that achieve their goals usually die at the end of the story or don’t live in the sequel if it has one. Or simply retire at the end of the first series (or only like for example bleach) and there is generally no reason for naruto to be alive. If anything everything that’s been shown in the story (beggining of boruto and those first scenes) not to mention it’s already setup for naruto’s death it’s doing the same thing. Naruto has no weight to the story while he is alive, he isn’t doing anything for boruto as he isn’t teaching boruto shit, there were no threats for most of the story naruto had to deal with except for the start and now, also to make boruto stronger and really awaken the jougan naruto really has to die. Just like for naruto to have progressed and learn sage mode jiraiya had to die.

In all honesty, if boruto ever wants to blow up Naruto has to die. You can't have the main character constantly being saved and never showing what they can do themselves, especially not by the previous main character. ....oh yea now i remember in the shinobi wars naruto actually did die in it sorta and tsunade or sakura had do some new type on jutsu to resurrect him since his heart stopt think they did something to restart his heart so uh yea theres that so even if and i just saying a big if they do something like that my guess is they would get trunade to come out of retirement which i guess shes in hiding somewhere nobody except herself and possibly some people she trusts would know where' her hiding location is at and she would rush to the village to do something like that or sakura might do it since she was tsunade's student.

There's this one new Pain mugen that can summon each path of pain and they fight independently of the main Pain, kind of like the Naruto clones, each with their own stuff. Also there's armor break on it. (Frak20 made that version) :)
