The only *useful* artanis: 1) Go max cd shields - bigger shields or passing shield talent for damage is a mistake. Max cd - with magic resist if enemy has heavy mage focus - offers far more durability in an extended fight. 2) Amateur opponent actually gives some pve boss/merc capture value and structural threat. Not a samuro, but better than nothing. 3) Both ults are meh. But if the enemy has a low mobility target, the "wrong" ult actually offers more value. Not at level 10, but at level 20, it's speed will force the enemy to be constantly moving during fights and significantly reduce their damage or healing value. Much like the "zoning" hanzo ult theory to split enemy teams apart/force certain positioning from enemies. Trash? Sure. But I'd argue (at lvl 2) still better than a glorified johanna e.
