You would be right that Unisuga having no tracks in Kuro wouldn't prove that he left JDK band, since JDK band doesn't compose songs for Falcom games anymore, but Unisuga wasn't in JDK band to begin with. He was apart of JDK sound team, internal staff that composes music for Falcom games. Regarding Falcom's tweet, I don't blame you for believing it since it is the official account, but Unisuga not having a single track in Kuro really hurts the credibility of their statement. Falcom's also has a pretty shady history regarding crediting, to name a few examples: They don't credit their employees properly/outsourcers properly(Ys 9 had an uncredited composer, composers aren't even credited on a track by track basis), they remove employee names from the credits of their games if they leave before a game releases despite working on the game(Hagiuda is an example of this, he wasn't credited in CS1 despite having a lot of tracks made for CS1), and they're just very vague about the specific roles employees do(we don't even know who did the artwork for the CS games). I'm not 100% sure if Unisuga left Falcom altogether(someone correct me if I'm wrong) he could still be working on webmaster duties, but I think it's a safe assumption that Falcom is withholding information or lying to us about his status in JDK.

Koguchi appreciation time. Koguchi has with his Kuro work, proven himself as a competent and skilled composer who is worthy to stand up beside even the best Falcom Jdk's composers of the past If falcom manages to keep him, we can expect to hear many absolute bangers from him in the future, he was exactly what we fans needed now with Unisuga gone and Sonoda burnt out. While I don't think every song of his is a winner (pinch's arrangement leaves a lot to be desired but that was probably one of the first songs he produced for the ost). He has improved so dramatically over the last year that who knows how much better he will be by the next game. Thank you Koguchi

The ending for this game is very "close" without any cliffhanger. While minor question remain its a game you can really enjoy from start to finish, it doesn't clash with previous entries and the main conflicts get done within game. Similar to Zero. I think newcomers can enjoy it a way more than CS1

Gotta be honest, I wasn't really feeling Koguchi's work in this game but this one's kind of a banger. There is definitely potential there and his improvement since Hajimari and even between different tracks from this game has been huge. He's definitely what Falcom needs right now - hopefully they won't screw things up and lose another talented composer because of their usual BS.

There's been a lot of misses in the soundtrack, not just from this game, but current Falcom in general. Now that it's come to this, I honestly wouldn't mind if they straight up reused older tracks whenever it fits of course. They've done it before why not continue that trend. Between Fateful Confrontation/Maybe it was Fated, Severe Blow and Erosion of Madness there's already plenty of great Enforcer themes to go around. Other than that, having less tracks per game would be beneficial. I vastly rather quality over quantity. That's not to say there aren't any amazing songs from Kuro. This ending theme in particular I really like. Just wish there was more, much more.
