This episode is fantastic, and my favorite in this episode is Toka. First, she didn't withdraw from the battle not because she wants to be number one or participate in the Seven Stars Sword Festival, it's because of her respect with Ikki as a swordman and as a fellow knight. Likewise, knowing that just by dodging Ikki's strike, she'll win, but no, again as with the pride of a swordman, she took on Ikki's charge with her trademark Raikiri. It makes me think of the series as a whole, how Stella didn't want to use magic to best Ikki, how Ayatsuji Kaito was happy even when he was facing the savage Sword Eater and when Ayatsuji Ayase felt shame for discarding the pride of a swordman. This is what that fat bastard didn't think of, Toka never wanted to win, she wanted to fight, and never in her life did anyone challenge her Raikiri head on.

+dieptxt2008 After re watching this a few more times there is just one thing that bothers me about this fight. Toka is supposed to be an extremely honorable warrior which without a doubt she is. But there is one thing in the code of honor which was extremely badly displayed and that is using your full str against an injured and barely standing opponent. This fight was only made this epic because Ikki gave everything he had but imagine this scenario. Two people who respect each other are supposed to have a match. In the week before the match people who hate one of those 2 people beat the shit out of one guy, lock him in a cell don't feed him deprive him on his sleep. Than with his last bit of energy drags himself to the arena where the match is supposed to take place only to find that his rival/opponent is waiting up on him rested, healthy and without any problems whatsoever. In my personal opinion this is how this fight should've played out. The school should've cancelled the match seeing in what a fucked up state ikki was and postpone the match for 24 hours time in which the school would've taken responsibility to keep ikki in there. Or toka backing down from the fight. I understand the concept or respecting your opponent and giving it your all in order show your opponent he is worthy of your best but in my opinion after serious consideration it would've been more honorable if Toka would've flat out asked for a postponement or flat out withdraw from the fight refusing to fight a half dead opponent.

Toka is an honorable Knight but still, she's the school council student, she can't behave like a deliquent (like tell the school to go fuck yourself). And more, there's one thing that makes them different from others Knight image, here is that they also have a lust for battle,not just Toka, also Ikki, Kuraudo and Kaito. And it's only 12 ep so you don't know the full extend of what Ikki has gone through, not only make him walk but in the food they gave Ikki got poison in it, it's a miracle that he could reach it on time. That, Toka and others can't possibly know, right? Think about it, he ran for 20 kilometres each morning, this road is nothing but physical execersise to him, he can't possibly THAT exhausted.

dieptxt2008 toka is obviously aware he is in a fucked up state she even says it out loud that she see's he is injured like shit but still wants to fight him. I mean is stated by her which is really fucking bullshit when you are supposed to depict her as a paragon of honor And don't get me wrong I'm not blaming the character toka i'm blaming those who scripted that detail lol. Furthermore being a model student should never be a higher priority than following your code of honor which is what again the writers really fucked up. And yeh i did know he was poisoned. Additionally there's many 13 episode anime so it wouldn't have been that difficult to make an extra episode. But again i'm just nitpicking at a very little thing that bothered me nothing really major. And I'm only nit picking from the honorable thing to do perspective because if that would've happened we wouldn't have had this amazing season finale with Ikki defeating all odds and proposing to stella right after so as far as dramatic ending goes this was for the best. AGAIN as far as the honorable thing to do in that particular scenario the honorable thing to do was not to fight full strength against a half dead opponent. For me this anime is still one of my favorite 5 shows and I have literally watched hundreds.

+What a Troll even the character are hardly clichee. Yes stella is 100% cliche for being tsundere princess but that aside there's very few shows which show a tsundere open up so fast or flat out offering herself to the MC in more than fucking obvious ways. Main character in my opinion is pretty close to being original since he isn't your typical shy dense moron who has extreme power without any explanation and over whom all women in the world fall head over heels for little if any reason at all. I'm having a really hard time to find a male character lead that confessed in the first few episode, doesn't have power worth of shit and doesn't have a harem of 5+ girls on his side. While there's plenty of girls who respect and like ikki they don't like him in a harem way. Most of them respect him for his abilities and for who she is and don't just want to get into his pants. Even his sister who was fucking annoying in the first few episodes backs off significantly after episode 4.

+hohoho479 well, both were extraordinarily great, awesome, but i think this one was better, because on one punch man everybody knew that saitama is unbeatable. The fights were like oppositing themselves: One-Punch Man Saitama makes it a long fight, even though he could have ended the fight within seconds and Toka goes straight into a close combat to fight Ikki and even thought all the other fights in the series were like pretty long, this one was not. Let's just agree that both are fantastic and fit to the anime perfectly :)

Complètement d'accord, dire que Gakusen Toshi Asterisk aura une saison 2 et peut être pas Rakudai kishi no cavalry... C'est vrai que l'anime commençait quand même très "moyen? " Mais au fil des épisodes ( à partir de l'épisode 3-4 ), l'anime m'a vraiment surpris ! En espérant qu'une annonce de saison 2 arrive mais tout dépendra des ventes au Japon

+Angelo Orlanes literally in your mind there's hundreds of thought going on all at once the only thing that's literally being said is Seven Sword Raiko (or whatever it was called) and Raikiri the other things are thoughts shown to the viewers over what is happening in their mind as they clash together. Which is also while their movement is shown in slow motion while in fact the Ikki charges as Toka with extreme speed.
